Does anyone have any suggestions as to how to keep active with diving when you can't dive? It's a bit cold, and don't have any near term dive plans. Are there skills I can develop? Any books to read or websites to check out? Is it worthwhile to do any online PADI specialty certification courses well before the required dives? Any suggestions would be much appreciated!

Take a trip and go diving somewhere warm . Seriously, take a course or read up on dive stuff that interest you.

My usual advice--Review all your manuals. I do a little of this daily. Go through the (24?) pool skills on land (mimic them). I do this once weekly. I thinks these things are good idea whether you are actively diving regularly or not.

Pool work is always good. That's why I have a drysuit, there is no off season.
