I would make a suggestion since you wrote :’Teaching the kids how to free dive’,

It’s always very pleasant to transmis the freediving ( apnea) skill.

Very good reflex, not to hold the snorkel in your mouth underwater.

We see that they liked it a lot

The guy and the girl should improve their way of palming, without making the movement of the footballer.
The lower leg, which rises, reduces hydrodynamics by opposing resistance to move forward. And point your toes like a ballerina.
The movement starts from the hip, bending the knees as little as possible as in this video.

Yes I understand, thats why you will notice myself and my son do not even use a snorkel. It is a choking hazard.
