Next time try Sucre Sale on 2 near 10 for breakfast. Great food, no flying critters.
Second street and tenth ave? Too far. It takes me a while to hike to Safari pier, and I like to put my suit and booties on before the boat arrives at 8.
 
Ha! Its less than a 5 minute walk! Worth the walk for anyone staying near the square. Maybe other will keep it in mind.

There is a significant disconnect between the pictures of the exterior and what's seen by walking by.
We've never gone beyond a few steps into the courtyard. It is quite possible the rooms are as charming/pretty as they appear in the pictures.

I have stayed there many times. It is probably a lesser hotel than Cozumel Palace but so is Mary Carmen...where I have also stayed.
