Hello,

My husband and I will be in the Kona area for a week at the beginning of May. We're hoping to do mostly shore diving and are bringing some of our gear with us.

We're having a hard time finding accommodations that would enable us to rinse and securely hang our gear to dry each day after our dives. We'd like a quiet apartment/studio (something where we can cook).

Any suggestions?
Thanks

Three years at Kona Bali Kai, 2 miles south of down town, never had a problem hanging gear up to dry on balcony. As a bonus, Da Poke Shack is in the complex (best poke on the island!).

Our favorite place is Sugar Cottage. Guided diving, tanks and weights are included with the vacation rental.

Check out vrbo.com/62707

We are friends with the owner and still dive together.

Check out our place at sugar-inc.com. We specialize in taking out divers on shore dives at no charge as long as they are staying at our cottage. We have all the accommodations you would need including tanks and weights. No charge for any of this!
