So I have been remiss in posting about this op, @ScubaWithTurk and I were there in October doing some CCR training and we needed guaranteed depths for the normoxic course so Musandam was the obvious choice. There are several operators there serving the live aboard dhow customers as well as the smaller boats for day trips.

I spoke to Paul Emous the new GM of Al Marsa and we decided to use them. The facilities, service and friendliness of everyone involved was absolutely top notch. Paul runs a tight ship and his staff were always ready to help with anything we needed, from shunting J's of helium around to doing a late night battery run when we discovered our analyser spare had leaked.

Paul has just finished a marketing video:

Here are some of my pics from that trip:

Even big morays need a cleaning station occasionally:

@RainPilot We must get a tech trip organised some time, I was going to say when the water gets warmer, are these temps correct? It's still 23C down off the UAE east coast!

I don/t know if those temps are correct but I agree a tech trip is in order.

As for Al Marsa, they did a bang up job. I was very happy with the level of service we received and the attention to detail from the staff. I look forward to doing a trip on one of the tech dhows they have put together.

Is that Turk cleaning the moray or the other way around

He was playing his ukulele underwater and singing "That's Amore" .....

Correct temps but that was in October, like I said I was remiss...

Ah okay, I missed that bit, been a long tiring weekend with post diving beverages in Fujairah's secret bar :)
