For those who have been wondering, the new name of Los Otates is Los Tacotales.

They can call it coronajoint and I’d still eat there every day :)...it’s a fun place.

Thanks for improving the picture!

Same owners?
Yes, there was some copyright issue with the old name.

There was another Los Otates restaurant in Mexico that forced the name change, the one in Guadalajara I suppose. I have to wonder what the big deal is naming one after reeds, or the city in Veracruz? We'll still call it Los Otates for a while.

Think this was already clear , but exact same restaurant/employees/owners except for the name. Rare taco place with full bar. Food good, service sometimes fast, sometimes slow —really depends

On 15th, between Salas and 3rd per google maps (I just normally follow 15th until I see it on the right , so not 100 percent sure of cross streets , but google maps sounds right—I know it is within 1 block +/- of stated location on 15th )

We've always loved the food, but we're becoming bigger fans of the bar. We've nicknamed it "Omar's"...After the owner/manager, and after an old bar in our hometown.

Nay is a great bartender, and you can order food right from the bar. Reasonable drink prices.

Trademark / trade name, not copyright.
