Ft w is open. Arrived around 2 pm. Winds out of the south. About 10 cars in the parking lot, 3 divers putting gear away and 2 more in the water. Water temp 57. Max depth 20. Time 24. Solo. Vis 6' clear and another 6' shapes, formations and sand.

Nice first dive. Nice light in the shallows. Saw a puffer and had fun watching it. Hope to dive again tomorrow. Wind today out of the S. Tomorrow should be out of the N and tide high at 8 am.

Passed on the dive this morning with intermittent rain and cool gray skies. Maybe tomorrow.

Did the self guided tour at ft Adams and we had the place to ourselves - literally we were the only ones inside the fort. Checked out the beach and boat ramp as well.

Socked in now at jamestown. Not sure about another dive. Pretty gray and rainy past 36 hrs. Thursday was the day. Nice to be visiting RI.

The back of Ft Adams is the best dive site there, it gives us access to the East passage.

Another 2 dives early this morning (6-19) at Ft W. Fog and clouds on the first dive. Boat Ramp Cove. 57 degrees at 25'. Vis around 4'. Cove to myself. 2nd dive in West Cove to finish my tank. 59 degrees at 20'. Sun was out and very fishy in the 10-15' zone.
