Please help !

New battery, voltage OK, nothing on the display, beeps constantly like quick clicking.

Does not respond to reset (using CR2032).

Some idea? Or throw it in the trash?

Problem solved. New battery are too soft for start and reset. For more power I connect together baterry from mobile phone and disconnect after reset. So I finished battery replacing sucessfully :)

We have experienced the same problem when servicing some of the old Aladin oil-filled computers. A 3V battery will not reset it. However, using a SAFT LS14500 3.7V battery (the same battery model that goes inside the Aladin) does the trick much easier.
