Aqualung I100 wont change gas

Any ideas on why I can't get my computer to change gas, its set on air and want to set it for Nitrox but its won't give me the option. All the other settings can be adjusted, it has not gone into any kind of violation.

are you following the directions from page 21 from the Gas Lead In page to switch from Air to Nitrox?

Some computers won't let you change from air to nitrox readily others will!!!
Set the air to Nitrox 21 in the beginning and make sure it won't default back to air afterward(period of time).

Yes, its just 1 button that you hold for 2 seconds.

Problem is I am diving at the moment and it won't switch at all.

at the set air/ean screen you have to press less than 2 seconds to switch the setting. if you are currently set for air and you press and hold for more than 2 seconds, it bounces you back to the previous screen. the pelagic computers are not that intuitive you can just wing it without reading the manual or using the cheatsheet flash cards.

Some computers won't let you switch from air to nitrox once you start diving. You always just set it to nitrox and if you are diving air set it at 21 %. You may not be able to switch until the no fly time has expired.
