I’m thinking about moving from Diverlog + to Mac Dive. Does anyone know if I can migrate my log from Diverlog + to Mac Dive?

Take a look and see if there is an export function @Kevin Floyd .
MacDive will import these formats:
  • Diving Log (.sql)
  • Garmin (.FIT)
  • Oceanic (.TXT)
  • Liquivision Dive Logs (.lvd)
  • MacDive XML (.xml)
  • Seabear (.csv)
  • Shearwater Desktop (.xml)
  • Suunto Dive Manager 2.x (.SDE)
  • Suunto Dive Manager 4+ (.db.bak)
  • UDCF (.udcf)
  • UDDF (.uddf)
Hope this helps.

it’s does, thank you.

there isn’t an obvious way to export in the menu. And the Diverlog website looks like it’s down so no way to reach out for help. I’ll keep researching.

If anyone has some advice for how to make that export please let me know

Here is the info from Divelog.de
Subsurface Version 4 User Manual | Subsurface

20. APPENDIX D: Exporting a spreadsheet to CSV format
Many divers keep a dive log in some form of digital file, commonly a spreadsheet with various fields of information. These logs can be easily imported into Subsurface after the spreadsheet is converted in a .CSV file. This section explains the procedure to convert a diving logbook stored in a spreadsheet to a .CSV file that will later be imported to Subsurface. Creating a .CSV is straightforward, although the procedure is somewhat different according to which spreadsheet program is used.

Organize the diving data in the spreadsheet, so the first row contains the names (or titles) of each column and the information for each dive is stored in a single row. Subsurface supports many data items (Dive number, Date, Time, Duration, Location, GPS, Max. Depth, Mean Depth, Buddy, Notes, Weight and Tags). Organize dive data following a few simple rules:

  1. Date: use one of the following formats: yyyy-mm-dd, dd.mm.yyyy, mm/dd/yyyy

  2. Duration: the format should be minutes:seconds.

  3. Unit system: only one unit system should be used (no mix of imperial and metric units)

  4. Tags and buddies: values should be separated using a comma.

  5. GPS position: use decimal degrees, e.g. 30.22496 30.821798
