Prohiben actividades acuáticas en el Parque Nacional de Arrecifes de Cozumel

No the marine park is open. No problems. What is going on is that certain reefs will be closed on rotation. Look at the calender for which reefs will be closed on certain months. The reef does look much healthier now. The whitening is hard to spot. With less tourists the sewage and pollution dropped so gave the reef time to regenerate.

The article says the dates are between 12/15/2019 and 3/31/2020. It's one of those news sites that doesn't have accurate dates on their news articles, I think.

Por Esto is a slanderous, useless rag that deserves no attention. They make up sensationalism to sell papers to the uneducated.
