If this is not in the right place mods feel free to relocate.
So some of you tech people who've been around for a bit would probably remember me from my G.U.T.S. days.
Try for long story short, Steve Lewis (aka Doppler) was after me to make him a brass backplate.
In order to make it worth my while I did a run of I think 10 plates.
Nine of the 10 are in service with various people throughout the world.
The one that's left is a 17.5" model, its engraved with "G.U.T.S. # 000 Gary H" down the center spline.
Goes without saying these all were custom plates thus the level of workmanship is very high.
Thinking of selling and want thoughts on what its worth?
Goes without saying that someone is going to chime in and say why brass.
Answer 1 because it looks awesome.
Answer 2 because I like exotic metals.

Its a bit denser than SS, my airline bagage scale says about 8.5 #'s

I'll give you $50 for it just for the unique plate.

It’s cool, my guess was 8, there was someone looking for a long plate the other day, I’ll see if I can find the post.

@garyh - as you seem to have fabrication capabilities, would you be able to slot it?

Start my own bidding at 80. I really like this.
