Created an album in adobe lightroom. Link below. Was hoping this would allow for some higher res photos to come across, but I am not certain.

No photos of the usual big suspects (sharks, turtles etc) in a couple 2-tank dives this week, primarily because I was diving sites more known for smaller stuff and the baby batfish below.

Everyone on my boat saw an eagle ray at the surface at Palancar gardens just as we were about to get in, but it went its way by the time I got in with camera (couldn't have been more than 45 seconds)

3 more weeks and I'll be there.

How big was your batfish?

Fairly small. 6 inches maybe? probably less. Fish size kind of gets lost on me after fooling with pictures shot through a macro lens for a couple of days. Was much smaller than last couple I saw in that area. I know it took me a few seconds to see this one even after the divemaster had pointed the batfish out since I was expecting a bigger fish like we had seen the last time. Without the divemaster (Fernando @ Pelagic Ventures), I could have swam over the thing all day without seeing it.

Very nice shots and much appreciated for sharing!
