Dove yesterday (Oct 11th). Viz probably in the 50-60 ft range generally. Still a lot of fresh water pushing out of the island (more than I expected). Occasionally at the surface it would be kind of green and much less visibility, but once you were at dive depth I think viz was 50-60ft ballpark. Clearly not spectacular by Cozumel standards, but just fine for seeing any marine life that came along. Dove Cedral & Yucab. As others have noted, basically no damage at depth to the dive sites. A friend noticed a couple of broken sponges in a couple of dives and that was it. Sadly my shallow snorkeling spots at the shoreline up north did take a beating (especially smaller sponges), but nowhere near as bad as Wilma.

I missed another big eagle ray, was low on air just shy of 60 minutes due to pushing my camera around--other divers saw it while on safety stop (I saw it looking straight down as I was about to climb onto the boat)

Nice photo gallery. Thx for sharing. I especially like your pics with multiple creatures.

Thanks FL Turtle. I like those too. Sometimes tough to follow rule of thirds etc when dealing with more than one subject, but adds a little variety to just pictures of one fish/subject and little or nothing else in the background

I almost overlooked the juvenile queen angelfish above the green moray but the stripes caught my eye.

Thanks for the pic...boy, those animals sure look traumatized from the recent storm :)

sure miss seeing those creatures! thanks for sharing your underwater finds! enjoy!
