Same can be said for tripe, calamari, and jellyfish. Texture and mouth feel only, the flavor comes from the rest of the fish.
 
We saw quite a few last month ... and such pretty ... piles!

I ate a grasshopper last time I was there ... and I think I'll pass on the sea cucumber poop!!! :vomit:
