Hello everyone.

I was thinking about buying a reg set as described on the title with an SPG and 150cm hose, from what I gather around I might be able to get it for 600 euros.
Can I get an opinion on this set (better alternatives) and if the price seems good?
I was hoping to get to know more online shops based in Europe that I could look around for better prices.

Cheers

NO idea about the price but Apeks regs are very good and reliable.
Using the same 1st(DS4) and 2nd stages(TX50) since 1998.
If you do not need the turret and the 5th port then DS4 is equally good.
Can't go wrong with the main line Apeks regs.

I use xtx50's for my doubles. I know a lot of cave divers who are very happy with the xtx50.

I use the DST XTX50 with XTX50 octo and couldn't be happier. I'm only 20 dives into this hobby, but I did do a lot of research prior to purchasing this regulator set. One of the concerns I remember reading about was the weight of both the 1st stage and 2nd stages. Both are heavier and bulkier than the Atomics Aquatics B2 which my buddy has, and I remember people mentioning jaw fatigue, but this hasn't been an issue for me. I like the flex hoses because they don't feel like I'm fighting them, and I can coil my regs into a small bundle for storage.

My only experience with other regulators was during the OW class. We used a set of Aqua Lung CORE with rigid hoses I remember they tended to overflow whenever we entered the water, and I felt like I was constantly fighting the hose. Keep in mind this was during my class dives, so other factors may have been at play. YMMV.

I have exactly the same reg set. Added a 5th port to go on a long hose set up at some point and i paid more or less the same as you. It is my first reg set and i couldn't be happier.
Almost every (far more experienced) diver i dived with told me i will not regret it.
I have around 30 dives with them and i could feel the difference with the rentals that i used on my first 15 dives from the first breath.

I've got a bunch of Apeks DS4, not DST sorry. As second stages I've got XTX 50, TX50 and 2 ATX40. Hundreds of dives without any problem. Just one draw back : the XTX is way too expensive.

Thank you for your message.
Unfortunately since I'm most likely buying in january, I won't be able to buy from the UK due to customs charges (brexit)

This is the cheapest place to buy in europe and I have searched many places. The ONLY Specialist Apeks Site in the UK. In stock for fast despatch.
You can ask discount on email if you know what you want. Their email letter also have discounts all the time.

Mtx-RC is other candidate as you regulator, swivel is better than in xtx50

Why would the OP need an MTX?

OP, I think that is a good regulator. I am happy with my XTX 200 (difference to XTX 50 is cosmetic) + XTX 40, with an FSR first stage (difference to DST is that it lacks the turret - some prefer the latter for better routing, I prefer the former to have one less failure point). I paid 500 euros for mine, 2 years ago, but it was on a promotion of Haliotis.

However, if I were you (and if you prefer the turret of DST for better routing) I would add 30 euros and buy the set below:

Singletank-DIR-Set Apeks XTX50 5-Port - Deepstop GmbH

You get the same setup as you mentioned but already with the fifth port on first stage (I added mine further down the road) for better routing, as well as a second XTX 50 for backup (instead of the XTX 40). The difference between XTX 40 and XTX 50 is that the latter has a metal knob to adjust cracking pressure.
