Thanks very much for this shot. I think I am getting the yellow as well. I have no idea why the default color for scuba gear is minimum visibility black.
I hope sea lions don’t consider this a challenge color.

Sharks are attracted by the yellow...In Italy there are no dangerous sharks (actually there are but extremely rare). Still if I will bring my suit to Egypt there are plenty of longimanus there

Now I am jealous both of your drysuit and of the stand or pole you use to let it dry
Did you buy it somewhere or you made it yourself?
It's based on Alec Peirce's drysuit rack, and he has a little how-to video on youtube. I also put little 1" casters on the bottom. Which are nice, but they get stuck on any little crack in the floor, so I'd go with 2" casters next time to absorb little bumps in the ground. I also put a little angled T piece at the bottom, which would allow the rack to be hooked up to a fan or hairdryer in the future, if I ever decided that the suit needed to dry more quickly.

I'm happy with the yellow, no complaints. Sometimes people think I'm a firefighter. You can see some staining around the waist from my rubber weight belt, which is probably more visible on the yellow than it would be on any other color. I don't really care, but it's something to be aware of if you're more neurotic about that kind of stuff. My buddy went with the red Seaskin trilam, which also looks great.

Haven't had any sea lions bite me yet. They're curious as always, but I can't say I've noticed any difference versus my black wetsuit. As for the sharks, well, I've never seen one, so maybe the yellow would help me finally get to see one...

Do you have any pictures of your buddies red suit?

I’d also be interested. Hmm, maybe we should make a “show off your seaskin Drysuit” thread? One of the downsides is they have very few pictures on their website which hurts when ordering one.

I agree, I wish they had more pictures in their site... Like the multi color options... Are those black body with colored sleeves? What shade is the red? Things like this... The people must know... If you get things like the warm neck or kubi covers in a yellow suit, are they yellow as well, or just randomly black?

Looks like you’ll have a great suit.
For mine I didn’t do any reinforcement upgrades and have had no issues or extra wear, I also just use SiTech inflator and exhaust valves, never had a problem so I stick with those.
Telescoping was not an option when I bought mine but I would go with it if it were.
I don’t like the bulk of thinsulate so didn’t add extra room and I have no problem adding a few layers when needed.

I don’t know which SiTech docking system that is but if it’s not the standard oval QCS you may want to rethink that, the QCS gives you great dry glove options.

I think so, it's the standard oval QCS this is my understanding
