Someone who wanted to sell their regulator to me had this attached to the LP hose going to the secondary regulator. I hate to say it, but I have no idea what that is.

Do any of the experts on SB know what this is? One of those moisture addition adapters or heat sink?

A $200 moisture bio-filter. Of all of the things to spend money on.

Well if you are finishing all of your dives with throat irritation and getting sick, have a susceptibility to bronchial irritation ...

Hella-lot cheaper than a rebreather! :D
 
I have one. Sometimes awkward to use, but moist gas is really nice, especially with several dives a day, like on a liveaboard.
 
I will set it aside for live aboard trips or Bonaire and see how I like it, instead of selling it right away.

You might need some new filters for it. Here is the manual.
