What if a person doesn’t change out the balance chamber when they update to s wing poppet? Will it cause unnecessary wear? It will operate.... (at least out of water) Starting to worry that I didn’t change it when I put the s wing poppet in my g200b.... bout to go to Cozumel in 6 days. Looks like I will be checking tonight.

I serviced my g250 (that already had s wing poppet when I purchased) and serviced my g200b. Both were the first time I had serviced a reg. I didn’t change the spring or balance chamber in the g200b, just the s wing poppet from old blue and metal... funny thing is that the g200b seems to breathe easier than g250.

Can anyone tell me if these are the correct balance chambers? Pictures are from a few months ago when I was talking with another member on here trying to order parts.

First one yes, second pic looks like an aftermarket from VDH.
So this is my backup set of regs. I was going to let the misses use my primary set as it is “nicer”. Especially since I serviced these by myself and I am a bit more experienced diver. I’m guessing this is probably the best bet just in case something malfunctions. But just to clarify, in your opinion these are both the correct balance chamber but one just looks aftermarket?
