Some people have made it from the US to here. There is a group of 50 divers from Tennessee here at the moment. Obviously they took the testing and Curacao route to do it.

Good news today. It was announced we are going to Level 4 tomorrow. Restaurants, bars, shops and casinos will be open again.

Wife and I are in CUR, waiting on the Divi Divi Flight to BON later today....could not have timed it better. Did the overnight in MIA. Other than the pucker factor waiting on PCR results taken on Wed morning, the antigen test in CUR was smooth and fast....had results before going through immigration.

Where did you do the PCR test in Miami? Was it the Abbott Labs ID NOW?

A negative IDNOW COVID-19 rapid diagnostic test (nucleic acid amplification test NAAT) would be the best one and done test as I understand without having to deal with antigen in Curaco assuming you can make the 24 hour window.

1. A negative PCR or NAAT-test result, from a test taken within 24 hours before departure¹⁾.
or
2. A negative PCR-test result, from a test taken within 72 hours before arrival, and a negative Antigen-test result, from a test taken within 24 hours before departure¹⁾.

I’ve been getting these tests back within 2 hours, with a nice late PM time stamp. Awaiting lockdown to ease and I’ll be trying to “work remotely” for a month. Probably June.

Vaccinated Solo AOW and always looking for buddies. Just follow the 5G signal when you land.

Yep and we reduced from level 5 to 4 which lets nonessential businesses open and limited indoor dining. Then next day the Island Governor had a press release about a bunch of young people partying in larger groups than what is allowed. He was less than pleased and if people here remain selfish and stupid we'll be in lockdown again.

Well over half of population vaccinated one or two doses, dive shops open, curfew lifted, and numbers improving. Bravo Bonaire.
