Then you have Naia. Back during the last Glacial Maximum, that area was extremely arid, often (it is believed) the "locals" entered the cenotes looking for water, or chasing game. If you dive Otocha Ha (which is part of Sistema Sac Actun), way back in you can see prehistoric fossilized small animal foot prints in the rock floor, on the edge of where water was trickling through the cave. Super cool!
