I read from somewhere on SB recently that importing scuba equipment(private use) to USA is exempted from duties and tax. Was it your thread?

Yes that was me but I was wondering about $1,600 worth of stuff. I have only shipped under $800 worth of stuff into the US and that is automatically duty free. But either way turns out the $1,600 will still be duty free
