So I’m finally doing another dive tomorrow and it should be a simple one at the Moreton Island wrecks. However it’s last minute and I am not very familiar with my new dive watch. Can anyone tell me anything about it? Does it just work or? Don’t have much time to research much so I really appreciate the help.

The above link has a website that offers training for a few dollars.
If you're only doing one NDL dive, a computer isn't necessary provided you have a depth gauge and know your SAC rate and turn pressure. At 18-metres you should be OK.

It'll just come on when you get in the water. It'll show temperature, depth and time underwater and when you surface the display automatically changes to show max depth, dive time, and how long you have been on your surface interval. When ascending, "up" arrows in the center of the watch will indicate ascent speed... one arrow is good, two is getting fast, three means you are pushing it.
