You are much better off hacking a pressure attachment to the pressure sensor only then having full access to the computer's controls. When you see some of Shearwater's videos, they are doing just that. They demo a dive and add pressure to the sensor with pressurized gas and push controls to show you how the computer functions on a simulated dive.
The actual idea you originally proposed is very problematic needing pressure control feedthroughs and manipulators through into a chamber. It can be done but really not required for the test intended.
 
A "programmable" pressure pot to automatically test pre-planned unattended dive profile on submerged dive computers in a pressure pot doesn't exist. The one that exists and is sold by Global is manual, you have to stand there and open and shut off the pressure to adjust the depth up or down. You have to stand there by the pressure pot adding pressure or venting it off. This pressure pot has a glass top cover you use to monitor your submerged dive computer(s) and you can put a video camera above this glass to make a video of your precious experiment. To change the pressure (to change depth) in the pot, you have to do it manually while standing by the pot. The pot has a connection for HP air to test AI dive computers too (only one connection for one computer however without a splitter).

Do you have a link to Global's pressure pot? I tried to find it myself with no joy.
 
Looking for a programmable pressure chamber with a transparent window for viewing the displays of various dive computers.

Ideally there'd be a way of pressing buttons on the DCa simultaneously to switch gasses but that likely isn't feasible. Just an Uber nice to have.

I believe what you are looking for is the Bergeon 5555/10, transparent pressure chamber that can be pressurized to 330 feet. This is one of the pressure chambers we use at DIvewatchdoctor to pressure test every dive computer we service. How do you pressurize it? The hand pump or scuba tank?

We prefer the hand pump. Gives you better control of the increasing pressure ("depth") you are applying to the dive watch or computer under test. Although the Global pressure pot is much larger in size, the Bergeon allows conducting non-destructive tests whereas the Global doesn't. With the Bergeon you first pressurize the computer under test hanging in the air. After a couple of minutes, you dunk it into the water (essentially at the same pressure) and start depressurizing the chamber. In the event the computer leaks, you will see bubbles coming from the computer indicating where the leak is (rear case, push-button, or a crack in the glass, for instance). If there is a leak, with the Global pressure pot you will have a flooded computer at the end of the test.

Doesn't pressuring the dive computer in the air causes issues with air leaking into the case or destroying the sensor since air molecule is smaller than water? All of the dive computer literature I am familiar with warn against pressuring dive computer in air.

Does it take a lot of effort to use the hand pump to pump the pressure down to 50 meters?
