    Battery

Mustang, I just sent an email to batteryspace.com and hope to hear from them this week. I'll report back on progress-I've never shipped a battery to the U.S. before.

    Battery

I'll definitely post the outcome here. I think there may be more divers in a similar situation out there. Diving is already expensive enough.

    Battery

Just sent them an email-I think the U.S. has the same long weekend as us here un Canada-unless Trump cancelled that too. I'm in process of emailing some material to Suex as well.

    Battery

That would be great if I could get a rebuilt on the battery. I am led to believe that the issue on the battery is that there is some sort of motherboard in it-but don't really know about any of that electronic lingo

    Battery

I understood that Suex took over general production, but was not sure about batteries and service. I'll get in touch with them and see what they say. Thanks for the reply. I'll post whatever response I get.

    Battery

Anybody out there know where I can purchase a new Battery for a Halcyon T16 DPV. Halcyon doesn't sell the DPV any longer. I'm up in Ontario Canada and I did hear from Dan's Dive Shop here that the cost would be over a thousand for the standard one.

    Wings for Doubles

They don't make an Evolve which is 50lb lift; which is what I think I need. That's why I've been looking for alternatives; I'd prefer Halcyon as first choice.

What accessories? Is there a battery charger with it?

    Ikelite Pro-V8 LED Video Light

Do you know much about it? I have a substrobe 160 for my Canon G10 which I want to use for video as well. THe substrobe is fine with stills but not video. Can the video light be sync'd with the housing?

The continuing sagas of the Blue Heron Bridge

Hi, I was directed to your thread by a fellow Cdn diver. Great pictures; how heavy is the flow under the bridge at any time? Or, do you just dive it during slack tide?

    Wings for Doubles

Great opinions all, and I appreciate the thread. I switched from another wing to the Halcyon because of the dump valve placement; easier for me to get to. I prefer the donut to the horseshoe because of that taco-ing effect and more gas in one side than the other-I was a whiz at going in...

    Wings for Doubles

I have been diving with single steel 100s for several years now and have put together bands, manifold, regs for doubling up. I have a single Halcyon donut wing which I like. Which of the doubles wings is best? Just looking for some insight and reasons for choice.

    The Marengo

Afternoon, T'was I that posted the Youtube Video of the Marengo. It's my little project; of sorts. It is an interesting shore dive-albeit a bit of a swim-the first section is about 425 metres from shore. It's not difficult though, so long as you know where you're going, and not deep. In the...

    Lake Simcoe airplane wreck

Thirty-years of diving is IMPRESSIVE; but still, you're not old enough to have been around when the Enterprise was sunk ;~{ ) ARE YOU?? Okay, that said of the 'pile of boards', what would you dive after the Morrison and the marine railway. I like the history more and the 'artificial' dive...

    Lake Simcoe airplane wreck

Hey, hey, hey, I meant the Enterprise not the Plane. You're not old enough to have been involved in the towing of it to deeper water. Stay focussed

    Lake Simcoe airplane wreck

Okay, so thinking back ten years, did you dive off Sibbald Point, Jackson's Point or elsewhere. My reports suggest that it is just off Sibbald Point. If you did it back then did you go out from Jackson's Point? There must be some way of doing rudimentary triangulation to get a fix on it. It...

    Lake Simcoe airplane wreck

Anybody still searching for the Enterprise??? Assuming it's more than just a few boards sticking out of the mud, I wouldn't mind diving it. Just looking for interesting shore dives

Jackson point Wreck Lake Simcoe ??

So, has there been any follow up to this thread on the Enterprise, aka Mariposa Belle. I'd seen several articles on the ship and the fact that it had been scuttled near Jackson's Point/Sibbald Point after the machinery had been removed in or about 1903 after the ship sank at the wharf.

    Underwater structure near Okinawa

Interesting discussion from everyone; but perhaps best put to a geologist. Clearly there are rocky formations that yield right anglesfor large slabs of rock. That the underwater debris is absent is not conclusive of anything; nor is the presence of the right angled stone. Don't we have any...

    Underwater structure near Okinawa

How far out from shore is the structure and what depth? Inundation theories are something to take a look at. Take a look at Graham Hancock's book Underworld. There are structures at Yonaguni and Kerama, Japan and elsewhere that suggest such structures are to be found in coastal areas which may...
