    Back-Up Question

Not for the next week or two until I get back to base. I don't take cameras on "excercise" heehee. At the moment thought its a Poseidon Cyklon 5000 with a normal 22" hose running from the left post/right hand of first stage (depending upon doubles or singles) over right shoulder and onto the...

    Back-Up Question

No swivel on either, don't really want to get one. If you think that is the problem, would a Miflex hose be able to sort it out? Dutybooty

    Back-Up Question

Well, dutybooties gone away to play in Jamaica, all courtesy of Her Majesties Gobernment. Since he was going away to where the diving is free, he purged out on new gear, and is now having problems. Got a new reg, a Poseidon Cyklon 5000 and they're great regs, absolutely love them, only...

    Goodbye ponies

I think the way to see it is. "If this happens can I get myself out of it?" Then when the proverbial hits the fan, your buddys there to back you up. Its redundancy in the redundancy system. Anyroad, I'm off. I'm on duty. Dutybooty

    Goodbye ponies

Personally, I never go deeper than 20m without a twinset on. This works anywhere. On holiday (vacation) carry some extra cam bands and use a wing that will accept singles or doubles. An extra few dollars to the dive shop owner will get you a set of independent twins, sometimes manifolded if...

    Dive Eq using Double Tanks

Sorry to dissappoint my friend. But while thinking that the person posing as a recovery diver (in my line of work we call them "walts") is a complete cock, I do know of the recovery of several GUE trained divers. GUE is not the be all and end all, neither is any training organisation. Many...

How did you get into wreck?

You sound like me when I started doing a bit of penetration!!! Until you've had a blackout though (admittedly, my fault, the story won't be told here!) or experienced something going wrong, you will realise how useful they are! Anyway, gotta go, I'm on duty! Dutybooty

    Tying on clips

Thats actually quite nice. Now I appreciate the effort, but it seems to me that I could make one of those out of an old zip pull!!! But, just for putting the effort in, I bought a dive-rite cam band from my LDS :) But anyway, I'm on duty. Dutybooty

    Tying on clips

Well, I started off using cable ties, but in England it's very cold. They get brittle and break. Its happened a few times to me on normal English dives, but more so on ice dives and the like. Gotta go, I'm on duty. Dutybooty.

    Tying on clips

Ahh thank you very much. Exactly what I was looking for. Thats how I was doing it, just with a lot more turns around the hose. Anyway, gotta go, I'm on duty! Dutybooty

How did you get into wreck?

Hey, Now I'm not asking for opinions on what to do. I already dive wrecks with reasonable amounts of penetration (50m ish) but I'm interested in how people got into wreck diving? Did you teach yourself? Take a course? Learn off a friend? Or other? Please specify Myself, I was a...

    Tying on clips

Hey, I've had a mong moment and completely forgotten how to tie piston clips onto hoses so they fit on hoses. Looking at the ones I've already tied I can't figure out how to tie them or even how to undo them!!! Please guy's, you're my last hope. Gotta go, I'm on duty. Dutybooty
