I don't have an E-PL1, nor E-PL2 yet, but for deep diving I wouldn't want to try it out with Olympus' polycarbonate housing, as it is rated to -40m only. Beyond -40m you'll have to check out third party housing manufacturers, like e.g. 10Bar (E-Pl1) or Athena (E-P1/E-P2).

Just stumbled upon this "PEN Underwater System Chart - E-PL2" PDF on Olympus' website. Looks like the new M.ZUIKO DIGITAL 14-42mm II now uses the same PPZR-EP02 zoom-ring as the 9-18mm.

If the rumors (e.g. better LCD & remote shutter option) are true I think I might finally board the MFT boat :o) Especially if the E-PL2's video capabilities are improved too. Personally I'm glad they got rid of the EVF hump on the housing. Placed at 45 degrees it would have been useful, but...

Inon's housing looks pretty cool indeed... and about the same size it seems as the Olympus PT-EP01 housing for the E-PL1. The price though won't be similar I'm afraid.

Just so you know: My Epoque EHS-1000HD housing flooded after only seven dives, thereby totally ruining my Sanyo HD1000 camcorder. On a subsequent test dive the housing remained dry... Just bad luck or is Epoque's underwater housing prone to leaks? Your bet is as good as mine. But it sure looks...
