If you can get the reservations, I would also recommend Pt. Lobos as well. For weekends, you almost need to get reservations a month out, but weekays will be easier. Parking does get full quickly in Whaler's cove, so if you do get reservations, get there just before the park opens. Guide...

I had my Vyper DS + transmitter sent in a while back, just got a Vyper Novo + transmitter (possibly the same one) and a data cable. I saw nothing on the online status, then it was shipped back.

Hi, welcome to the area. What area are you in? I'm sure others will chime in on their favorite LDS/teacher if you give an area. As far as diving regularly, once certified, you can post on this board, or you checkout the dive club associated with the dive shop where you get certified.

I have a husky table and if I cannot find close parking or if I want to setup with a group in a field, I'll use the table. I've also seen people doing tech training with doubles putting the table close to the water, but out of the way of others and use that to rest and review between dives.

My OW instructor took us out there on our second day, as our last dive. He only did this after making sure everyone was comfortable. It turned out to be an awesome dive since it was our only fun dive.

I'll still be coming down rain or shine. What do you folks think about a group photo or signing a card as something to give to her family and Tommy?
