    D1X Venting Challenge

Not Malice at all!! - Fair Question, yes I rolled or holding onto a line oriented myself into a position where the valve was highest. Never run into this before in any of my last 3 suits.

    D1X Venting Challenge

HI All, Just got my hands on a D1X. I love the suit but struggle with one thing, venting the suit. The exhaust valve on the surface wide open vents with ease and without much ask at all. On my last dives I’ve really struggled to get the suit to vent when underwater. Rolling or manually...

O2 Clean and Service Tech Courses - Canada

I have what I think should be easy questions to answer but I keep getting mixed responses depending on who I ask and I'm hoping there is a Poseidon person still floating around here. First, a number of years ago I purchased a set of Xstream Deeps. I use them for sidemount and I love them. My...

    XTX 200 or ScubaPro G250V

Well, I guess this one was actually much easier the slightly larger and a bit heavier Scubapro won. When I tired them out in the shop I found the scubapro fit better in my mouth than the XTX200 or the XTX50

    XTX 200 or ScubaPro G250V

I was thinking that the XTX50 and 200 were essentially the same less the first stage. I was considering the XTX 50 and the TEC3 or DS4. I have to admit in some ways I am leaning towards the Scubapro. Is there a distinct reason to run Apeks? I'm worried I'm missing a point that's important...

    XTX 200 or ScubaPro G250V

Hmm... Okay, so we've kinda wondered off the path here... I need to purchase another reg regardless and I was looking at either the XTX200 or G250v/Mk17 High Polished. My SR1 will be with me a while longer just in a different role.

    XTX 200 or ScubaPro G250V

Nope, even dialed all the way in it free flows.

    XTX 200 or ScubaPro G250V

HAHAHA! I did give both methods a try and the results were as soon as it went back in my mouth the free flow started again. However it did stop while i had it out. I had the regs checked and serviced before hitting the water and checked again before the next dive... same results Its warmed...

    XTX 200 or ScubaPro G250V

Never thought about the TEC3's on a single tank before but I did consider for doubles.

    XTX 200 or ScubaPro G250V

Singles at the moment, doubles potentially at the end of the month.

    XTX 200 or ScubaPro G250V

My SR1 breathes easy but I seem to find that trickle free flows at 100+ft and in the cold. Usually unpredictably.

    XTX 200 or ScubaPro G250V

Looking at the XTX200 I didn't think hose routing would be an issue. The LP hoses come out of the sides and HP is angled down. Can you explain maybe I missed something?

    XTX 200 or ScubaPro G250V

Alright, so I am hoping someone can give me some details... I switched regs a few months ago and my new ones aren't really impressing me, now I have the oppertunity to get some new stuff! So I was wondering if anyone has any comparison notes on the XTX200 against the ScubaPro G250v with...

    New Dive Computer

I'm curious if anyone has used a Suunto and Sol before and would be willing to give a bit of information on whether they preferred one or the other.

    New Dive Computer

It's funny you mention the digital compass issues. I haven't liked any of the ones I've seen or tried just because the tilt is aggravating. However looking at the Galileo it offers full tilt compass which kinda resolves the issues I've had with digital compasses. I'm still not a huge fan of...

    New Dive Computer

Hi All, I am looking at the possibility of getting a new dive computer. Presently I dive a Suunto Cobra (original) that has decided that cold water diving isn't for it. I have a lot of buddies that dive the Viper Air and I was wondering hat anyone's thoughts are on the Vyper Air. I am...

    Rebreather Worth It or Not?

Hi All, Thanks for the reply! I have to admit that this wasn't quite I had anticipated. Personally I've always wanted to try a Rebreather but haven't had the chance. I had also made the assumption that it was something that wasn't for me but in all fairness I haven't even tried. Maybe...

    Rebreather Worth It or Not?

Hi All, I have just finished doing some reading on mixed gases, nitrox and rebreathers and decided I wanted some more information (my books didn't answer all my questions...actually gave me more questions). I have noticed in a few posts here and there that several people seem to be using...
