    AT&T iphone service on Utila??

Make sure you have data roaming off. You can add the international data plan, but as much as voice costs, you will get a huge bill if you allow push notifications. I always just use WiFi if available to get my emails.

AT&T coverage, iPhone issues in Cozumel ?

The iPhone gets great coverage outside of the US. I add the international plan before I leave and take it off the plan when I return. Even with the plan, charges are fairly high. I never use data unless I am on a WiFi. Turn off push notifications and data roam or you will pay dearly.

What to do when an instructor is out of line?

Just for curiosity, why didn't you just switch instructors at the LDS? From your first post, when you talked to the CD, you agreed that you could have done things differently (not that I think you did anything wrong). It just seems that you didn't really give the shop a chance...

    Knew it would happen eventually

You should probably get someone to proof read your posts before you hit that post button. :D my 10 year old has better writing skills. She knows how to spell "diving" too. :eyebrow: So, what procedure do you "teach" your students concerning a lost buddy?

    Tylenol Cold and Sinus?

As you ascend, you can feel the pressure build up. If I feel it, I drop deeper and come up a little slower. I've only had one and it was extremely pain full. The active decongestion in the Tylenol cold congestion is Phenylephrine. Psuedophedrine works a lot better for me. The problem with...

The oil is coming your way.

The heat from a nuclear blast is hotter than the surface of the sun. They think that the high heat would cause the rock to fuse together plugging the hole. The Soviets used the method to seal several gas wells that were out of control.

The oil is coming your way.

I completely agree. Every time they start a new effort, they give a cool name like "top kill" and predict it has a 70% chance of working. Then they fall flat on their face. Heck, the NY Times is reporting that some scientists think that using a nuclear blast would be the best option...

    Went to the ear doc

You can use Sudafed, but be warned. If it wears off during the dive, you can get a reverse squeeze. I almost quit diving because I could not equalize very well. Try all of the different techniques. When you find one that works, practice it before you go diving. Diving will be a lot more...

    Equalization and Depth Options?

Proper equalization has to be the least covered topic in OW. When my wife got her OW last year, the instructor told her the same old "pinch and blow" technique. After she had trouble, I went over the different techniques with her until we found one that works. It doesn't take a lot of time...

    Equalization and Depth Options?

I quit diving for several years because I couldn't equalize properly. I watched the video mentioned above and tried every technique until I found one that works. Practice until it becomes second nature. I would always tense up because I knew I was going to have a problem. The more relaxed and...

    acromioclavicular separations and diving

Well, I decided to go to a shoulder specialist. From what I could find, he was probably the best guy in this area. He took a look at the x-rays and and my shoulder and said I had more like a grade 5 separation. So, I had surgery a couple weeks ago. He said that I had a lot of damage and was...
