    Vanity burst discs

If you had ever seen a burst disk from a tank that had been overfilled on a regular basis, you would understand why we upgrade, double-disk, or plug them. They do get severly warped over time. Let's not do a repeat of the old 'should you or shouldn't you overfill', that horse is bleeding on...

Oriskany on her Way to Pensacola

Planning a safe rec multilevel dive is going to be harder than you think. Sounds easy, drop to the flight deck & then work you way up the island. Right? How many of the mooring lines are going to be attached to the TOP of the superstrucre? What if your boat is up-current on a ball tied...

Signed Up For Intro Cave

Those are divers in a cave, NOT cave divers. If you were not joking, go back & retake your cavern course before you take intro.

    Tank Pressure and Volume

Maybe you could give us a reference to this so-called law. Is it a felony? I am aware of certain DOT regulations concerning inter-state transport of pressurized tanks, but not any federal law that says you cannot over-fill a tank. Please educate us.

That was only for a week or so when it was upside-down, after it sunk prematurely, until they finished sinking it on it's side.

    Changes in Pressure from Swells

Are you holding on to somthing like a mooring line that keeps you in place, or are you completely neutral & floating a fixed distance from the surface? maybe even a lift bag? It makes a difference.

Solo diving with a long hose (split from Should non-DIR divers use a long hose)

If I could say "CUT - lets try that one again" anytime things went wrong, I would not worry about backup's either. lol

    Emerging National Emergency

Haven't been here in a few years huh? Speed limit is 70 mph, average speed more like 80, Some of us need to haul 8-10 tanks & gear, and would like to do 0-60 in something measured by a clock not a calendar. I can out-accelerate some of these wimpy cars with my 34,600 lb gvw Motorhome.
