    Beating the elements.

I would go with the non zipup walls if you want to save some money. It's a pretty big price difference for just a zipper. What you could do is take one of the 4 walls out on the side facing away from the wind, or cut a flap in it, add a zipper, whatever to make essentially the same thing as...

will do, but figured I'd see if anyone else had the same things happen and if it was something I was doing wrong first ;).

    Epic Issues

I have an Aeris Epic Computer that is about 5 months old with roughly 100 dives on it. About 30 of those are in the pool no deeper than 10 feet. I had no problems at all for the first 4 months, but since then I have had several. At first the computer indicated that the battery was low...

    Technisub Vega 100 torch

I am not sure if it's my connection or the website itself, but you can try to look up specs here: Vega - Home Sorry I can't be more helpful but this one stumped me.

    Bottom Timer

Oh don't get me wrong I totally understand and delays for any part of the computer are just as likely. It's just a little ironic that the part of the computer that isn't ready isn't an electronic component. Cheers

    Halloween Costume

be sure to get a new one... don't add alcohol to weed and feed. It tastes horrible.

    Halloween Costume

Use a stong piece of cardboard tubing (the kind carpet comes rolled on sometimes) and cut a length of it to make your scuba tank. You can use paper mache (remember from grade school) to make a rounded top, or just use foil or something, then paint the whole thing. You can put a buckle latch on...

    PVC Diameter for Tank Rack

most dive boats I've been on with PVC racks are just normal PVC for exact size I'd measure the diameter of your tank including the boot, then measure the inside of some pipe at the hardware store. Make sure you don't make it too tight ;)

    Bottom Timer

I do find it slightly comical that the computer is being held up by rubber :). All said I'm anxiously awaiting this and the others in the DG series.

    Moving hoses

They actually mention this on in the review also, but say once you dive with it you can get used to it and make "finger tip" adjustments. I don't see it going mainstream, but it may be the perfect solution here.

    Moving hoses

This is the one I was talking about in the post on the first page. I think it may be the best option for what you're looking for if the price isn't an issue. Completely different inflation system and good review done by Scubalab posted on the Scuba Diving Magazine website.

    Moving hoses

I can't speak for the OP, but I know when I was trying to answer his question I was assuming that his daughter was having a hard time with her left arm strength-wise not just in range of motion.* If this is the case, pulling on something to descend (especially in an emergency situation)...

    Moving hoses

Scuba Diving Women's BC Review The Aqua Lung Pearl has a totally different inflation system which also may be an option. Check out the article, but hopefully with what people have posted here you're able to find something that will keep your daughter diving in comfort and without an...

    Moving hoses

Mares has a "pretty" BC with a dump valve on the right shoulderKaila BC Aeris Contour There was a review of 6 or 8 female BC's in a recent issue of Scuba Diving. I'll try to find it and post a link. If I remember right most of the BCs had right shoulder dump valves and weren't just...

    Moving hoses

If she is fine using the inflator on the left I would look into a BC with a top right shoulder dump as well as the bottom right one (Most Aeris BC's have this as well as several other manufacturers). However if the inflator is an issue even a little bit, it's better to be comfortable and I'd...

    Earproblem prevention

Since vinegar is what provides the antibacterial and antifungal effects of the drops, should I avoid buying brands that have no vinegar or other acids? Thanks for that really informative post on different solutions to use!

    Screwing it in (transmitter)

I realize this question was a long time ago, but on my transmitter there are 2 different numbers. If one of the numbers you are entering is 2 digits too long, it's probably not the right one. If you were taking it back to your dealer though this is way overdue :). Hope it all worked out.

    Aeris Epic vs. Elite T3

The same display on the epic that shows nitrogen will switch to showing O2 if you are closer to your limit with O2 than with nitrogen. (I know this questions was a really long time ago :(. )
