Which is heavier? 1lb of lead or 1lb of feathers?

a little off topic but the comment about ice cubes as weight makes me think of a silly DM story... Working on a boat in a shore diving area, all divers were told to do a shore dive and get weighting down first because there would be no extra weights on board.. Of course, we did keep about 4- 2lb...

Eel Attack in Cozumel (The Feeding of Lionfish)

What should be done with a lionfish after it is speared? the PADI Lionfiah Awareness and Elimination course suggests safely removing it from your spear and leaving it on the reef, or collecting it to take to a local research station or to enjoy as a post dive snack. Lionfish should not be fed to...

Lion Fish, an increasingly serious threat

the are not poisonous, they are venomous and there is a HUGE HUGE difference, they are nothing like blowfish in respect to eating- if you remove the spines (18 of them on back, anal and pelvic fins) then the meat poses absolutely noooo problem, actually its quite tastey- mild, white and firm...

    Lionfish Awareness and Elimination

I made no comment about freds hypothesis that LF may actually be beneficial to corals. Though i have a hard time believing he could support such a claim, I think persuing all possible hypotheses can only lead to beneficial outcomes. I applaude his personal interest in lionfish and was only...

    Lionfish Awareness and Elimination
