Do you want to change your office location...to a tropical Thai island?
We are looking for enthusiastic and passionate people to join our shop team, starting 1st December 2013. Diving knowledge and experience is preferred but not a must as these are non-diving positions. The ideal candidates...
I believe the west coast liveaboards have stopped running by that time - but someone more familiar Im sure will post soon.
On Koh Tao - east coast - there are no liveboards as the dive sites are so close.
Longterm accommodation is one of those things that you really need to be here to sort out - hence my suggestion to book something simple first and then look.
If you mail BAU then she will give you more details of exactly what is available and more description of where. You can mail me with the...
My knowledge of long term accommodation here on Koh Tao is limited to around Mae Haad as thats where our dive centre is. However I can tell you that for that budget you will be able to find something for sure - a simple room and with AC, hot water bathroom and Wifi is around 8000-10000B a...
Not all schools keep the same time and schedule and some try their best to avoid the crowds where the can - for example if you visit chumphon in a morning when everyone else is there then you will see alot of divers - go in the afternoon and its often that you have the site to yourself....
Hi there !
Where you choose to go is probably going to depend on budget and time. Other posters have mentioned Koh Tao - which is where I live...the training wreck here is called the HTMS Sattakut and its perfect for fulfilling all aspects of your course.
You can have a look at a post I made...
Hi there !
To be honest if you want to dive you are better to stay on Koh Tao - if you stay here you can visit 2 dive sites in the morning and be with your hubby by lunchtime - if you dive from Samui the longer transfer times wouldnt allow this. There are fishing trips available from Koh Tao...
HI there !
We (Wilco and Ayesha) do work closely with Tech Thailand who more now focus on their liveaboard trips. However it depends what level of training you are looking for and trip dates as to weather we can combine them.
Get intouch and I can tell you more !

If you were wanting to do some of your learning online before you come then you might consider SSI as their elearning is free.

SSI :: SSI Scuba Schools International ...
I agree with the above - although you can be lucky - I wouldnt risk it ...
You can keep your eye on Koh Tao weather here..
WindGURU: Thailand - Koh Tao, Mae Haad Bay
The conditions are really lovely right now but the wind is starting its shift and that will bring the rain (hopefully)
Hi there !
There is some great budget accommodation around us and while they remain quiet in the evening for a good nights sleep you are in easy walking distance to Sairee for a night out. There are bars and restaurants closer too. Most of our divers stay near by for this reason. The...
Koh Tao does have smaller and more personal dive schools that guarantee small groups all the way through to instructor course. As previous other posters have noted, there are some large dive schools here and there are some smaller ones you will still find that the smaller ones have enough...
Hi there Matt !
While you mentioned Master Divers and myself in your mail - I will try my best to remain unbiased !
Koh Tao is a good location for the spread of divers that you have and what they want to do.
As its a while before you are coming I would suggest that you discuss, with the...
