If you want to combine wide angle macro to make quick changes go for plastic flexarms. I have alu. arms and they are not so quick to change lightangles on. Snakeriver Prototyping has a nice setup. Make sure the arms are long enough to awoid backscatter on wide.

If you have Hero2 make sure you have the flatport housing (divehousing) else you NEVER get focus under water. From Hero3 the original housing is flat.
Id also considered a flood / wideangle light, a tray and so on...
hmm, have trouble connecting my vyper to Suunto DM5. It worked OK on DM4. Cant seem to downgrade to DM4 again...... I have the original cable, windows7. Any suggestions ?
For stills with the GoPro I mostly use timelapse function, 1 pics. /sec/ 2.sec. ( easy to get blurry pics. when pulling down the shutter on the lightweight camera).
Gopro is mainly a videocam so only for stills I would recommend a compactcam with zoom.

Depends on your budget but for quality, Hero3+ or 4 silver I believe. It is best to have a LCD screen to frame your shots, even if it eats some batterycapasity.
Yes mine filters colors look almost identical also. Havent tried them yet as I havent been to blue waters and mostly use the Macromate and lights, and sometimes the magenta (greenwater) filter.
Hard to say acc. to that pic. Both cams are primary VIDEO cams. Great price on that SJ4000 though....
Beware of copycats of the SJ4000, and the sensor is only a 2Mpix.

Nice light and music, but I think you are to shaky on filming. Have you balanced the rig ? - easier to hold and get smoother shots with a balanced rig, neutral or slightly negative. Pity with those old lobster pots...... still fishing. Lots of them here in Norway too. Should have been remowed.
