Makes no sense? I get your point but it scares me, I'm allowed to be scared.
What do you guys do when you see a shark? Move slowly? Ascend? Sink to the bottom if it's close?
I live by some great dive spots--Anacapa Island, San Miguel, Catalina...but because I'm so terrified of Great White Sharks I don't go. I'm new, too only about 10 dives in Mexico and Illinois and sometimes I actually have nightmares where I see one and I just stop breathing, my reg comes out. I...
Yeah...
And good idea wkongae I didn't think of factoring in the cost...I do not have a hood, my gloves are thin, and my fins are open heel. I didn't know there were socks.
Thanks everyone.
Kind of OT, but did you see the documentary on tiger sharks during shark week? It was about a free diver and a tiger shark he befriended. It was so amazing (their relatinonship), I cried. Not even kidding. And he could hold his breath 6 minutes!
What? No, it's not meant as an insult...my friend just told me that because that's what happened to him and his brother and that's why he doesn't freedive anymore. -shrug-
OT but my best friend lives in Sydney! :) She just left and I can't afford to visit her.
A really sad book is "Harvesting the Heart" which is by Jodi as well, I think.
My favorite book of all time. I cried like a baby when -blank- died :(
(don't want to give it away)
I don't know if I'll see the movie...always ruins it for me.
