Wow! That was more of a lecture than a blog post. Still, I agree with Stacy on about all of her points. If everyone followed her rules dive trips would go a lot more smoothly. The stories wouldn't be nearly as good though!

Dude, your situation is normal. Totally fine. Dive more and breathe more and you'll have it. Nothing to worry about at all. You don't need bigger tanks and take everything else with a grain of salt.

Apply for and get the job you want. Your certifying body will matter little. Your experience and enthusiasm will matter much. Although levels among agencies are different, the same overall diving standards apply for SSI, PADI, and NAUI.
