diving or snorkeling with humpback whales - silverbank or salt cay

I can't speak for Salt Cay, but you can snorkel with with them at The Silverbank with a extremely high chance of seeing them. I did the trip two years ago and we saw multiple whales each day.

Snorkeling with Whales at the Silver Bank

Hi, I went with Aquatic Adventures two years ago. The trip was amazing. Aquatic Adventures was the first to go out to the Silverbanks. Personally I don't know how they compare with the other dive companies out there, but they were great. A couple in our tour went with another company the year...

Your recommendations for photographing large animals with the E-PL7

Hi, next January I'm heading to Tiger Beach and Bimini Island to hopefully see tiger and great hammerhead sharks. When I've gone on dive trips before, I've always just brought a point and shoot, but this time I'm hoping to get some decent pictures. I'm taking the E-PL7 on the trip, and plan on...

    big dangerous animals

mrbeast1414 if you happen to see a shark cruising by, just enjoy the amazing experience. Chances are it will an truly unforgettable moment. If you do feel uncomfortable, just slowly make your way back to the boat, and keep your eyes on the shark. If it did charge, I hope I could get the nerve to...

    Anyone dove with whale sharks

I was fortunate enough to see a couple of whales sharks in Belize last year. Go late fall/early summer, as they head there to feed on the spawn of dog snappers. You have to time it right with the full moon, but it's breath taking to see them.

Great White Shark, A Living Legend

No, this guy does it with the cameras on. I don't think he meditates before hand, well it doesn't say. But he does seem delusional.

To Rescue, or not to Rescue - that is the question.

Being Canadian, I don't have to worry about lawsuits to much. So yes, I would lend a helping hand.

Great White Shark, A Living Legend

Mike Rutzen definitely has a "Timothy Treadwell" feel to him. Although, Rutzen seems to hide his loose screws a little better. The real tragedy with Treadwell was getting his girlfriend involved.

Great White Shark, A Living Legend

Hey Bill, it's about Mike Rutzen. It's a little bit of a process to get, but it's worth it. I don't know to much about computers, so I had a to get my roommate, who is computer science graduate to help me. Step 1: You need a Bit Torrent. This is used to download the program. The best one I...

Great White Shark, A Living Legend

I was wondering if anyone has seen this BBC documentary? It's about a diver who swims with the great whites without the protection of cages; to study them in there natural habitat. He has learned to communicate with them through body language, so he feels extremely comfortable with them. Even as...
