You know I have not got a chance to dive my unit, but the pre production units I dove did not seem to this problem that I can remember could it be a packing issue or differance in pre production and now? What sorb is being used, packing technics are used? Please do not take this as anything more...
Hey can you take some close ups of the wrist unit strap and sensor housing on the pre-pro these were subject to change in production frankly can you take detailed pics of the inside just so I can see what else has changed please sir!? Thank you!!
When I did my class they didn't have that problem. They had one that would act up(pre-production) that without the CO2 sensor it would scream high CO2 and call bail the others did not have that problem. My instructor said that the pre-pro's would act up in the very warm water as water would stay...
How long have you been on the waiting list if don't mind me asking still waiting on mine? The 300+ second pre-breathe is one of the big reasons for me to get the CO2 sensor.
I just realized you tell us about your new toy but neglect to post pics of the opening and couch dive and all kinds of other pics so get to work man show use some porn!!!!!!!:D
I forgot the limit but you can reuse a scrubber with a certain time left monitored by computer, but safety wise it is safer to just replace it and the tank each dive. And about two hour limit that is an est. with scrubber size diver CO2 production temp of scrubber and water temp all calculated...
When it all works you can stay longer under water to max NDL and the higher po2 helps to. There are batteries but you don't replace them you just charge them right now the scrubber is refillable not replaceable then sensors are mostly replaced yearly or just over. Weight is around doubles or...
The bailout bottle is a certifying agency requirement and Hollis recommendation for dives below 60' it is also a very smart idea for safety and the numbers I gave are from testing that Hollis/VR did but they will vary depending on diver condition and health.
40m/130ft- 212 mins or 120 minutes +reserve capacity at 22.5l/min vent rate/ Normal swimming/15 degrees C/59 Fahrenheit. This was cut from the explorer manual as middle of the for the scrubber. The gas supply is listed at about 189 mins nominal with good breathing and no bail out. Your mileage...
