What do most Scuba divers do for a living?

If your lucky enough you do what you love to do best...dive. How many people can say they have a passion and a love for their work? Get up in the morning looking forward what the day brings? Granted it's dangerous and no one who dive's for a living really can't say they have never been in a...

    M & B Wetsuits Torrance - Horrible Customer Service

I've had a many suits custom made and one nightmare comes to mind when I read this post. Don has been around a long time and I have had a few suits made at M&B. I ordered 2 jackets and a john from him and paid over $1000 a few years ago. The 1/2" jacket was just not going to work. The hood...

I had a Farallon it was slow but bullitproof. Then a Tekna, fast but broke handles. After using AV-1s I noticed some were faster than others. Same battery but alot faster. After having the motor gone through it still was the same speed. All I can think is it needs to be wound different. I don't...

Humor - "Should I get a Spare Air?"

There are good and bad about a spare air. Good, you might have air when you need it most. Bad, it might be leaking. Good, you look cool with all your buddies. Bad, you depend on it too much and you get careless. Good, you can always hit your buddy up for a refill before he jumps in. Bad, you...

Air flow rate for 1st and 2nd stages

Your right Mattboy, S600 Mk25. Although I have seen Kirby Morgans that could suck the last bit of air out of a surface supplied volume tank when all the rest of the regulators stopped working.:dontknow:

    Fatigue and nitrox

It's simple, just breath pure o2 for 20 minutes at the end of the day and you'll feel great! If that's not working contact NUVAIR and ask for Glen.

    Fatigue and nitrox

If you dive it commercially you feel better as far as elbow and shoulder cramps go. As far as more energy at the end of the day? I'm beat!

    Best scooter ever made

Farallon? You can't hurt one but not really fast. If it floods turn it over, dry it out and it still works! Try that with anything else.

Steel versus Aluminum... is steel better?

Thats it, even though i am going light now that i have switched to aluminum. But wow can you get off the bottom at the end of your dive. I have also gone to a "Hawaiian Sling" type backpack it has no straps! After long days in the water my armpits wore holes this backpack is the bomb!

Steel versus Aluminum... is steel better?

Yes, it is hard to stay at 10' when your getting near empty. Aluminim 80s float when they are empty and real heavy when full. I use aluminum 80s for that little bit more air but i try and stay out of the red. It's best to look for a kelpstock before you come up also don't go into the red...
