Awesome conditions. One thing I did notice with first dive today is a lot of jellyfish floating around towards surface. Most of them the small ones but did see a few man-o-wars. Those were awesome to watch from a distance but had 8 to 9 feet long tentacles which would suck if you got hit.

I'm spoiled the rest of my diving life after first trip to Cozumel. Started out in 7 mil suit on the California west coast. Progressed to 3 mil in Hawaii. Now, if I can't dive with just my swim trunks and rash guard I won't dive. Sad but true :)

I'm kind of dazed that this thread started 7 days ago about a tropical depression coming close to Cozumel and then within a few days passing by Cozumel it turned out to be a devastating hurricane slamming the US Gulf coast. It grew so fast in such a small period. Incredible..
