Hello Yes the lens is really dark it's the special coating inside and outside the lens. The focus problem seems to come from bad serial of glass. All the deffective lens going to be change in a short time All our apologize for this problem.

Hello Ferry For Ikelite housing with this camera no problem. Have you put your camera in "macro" position, for a perfect focus this lens need to be used with camera in "macro position" all the new camera set macro mode automaticaly, but with old camera like yours you need to do it yourself...

Hello Of course you can use step up ring from 52 or 55 to 67mm and use 67mm Dyron wide angle and the result will be really good. Actually we are in development for M52 wide angle version 20mm and 15mm. They will be ready in about 5 days.

Hello Theire is no wide angle DYRON without any vignetting on WP-DC11 Canon housing. This is because of the too long port of the housing.
