    Yellow Organism at Anacapa

    I photographed this yellow mass of vaguely lanceolate organisms at Tres Miguels dive site, Anacapa Island, California in about 35 FSW. Water temp was 57 degrees in a Kelp forest. I have searched the net, but have no idea what it is. Could it be an egg mass of some kind? Thanks for your help.
