    SAC Rate Changes with Depth

I would guess you are over weighted. More expansion and compression of gas in BC with slight depth change means more gas pulled from tank computer reads higher SAC

Water in first stage of atomic Z2x - help.

If you can see water in your pressure gauge it did not come thru the first stage. The high pressure air is contained in a sealed tube if water got in bubbles would be coming out. You probably cracked the case if plastic or the seal to the glass if brass.

    red filter masks

Part of the reason is they reduce for light transmission so it is like wearing sunglasses under water. They are OK on a tropical reef with bright sun but not as good in lower vis, or cloudy conditions.

If you can get air fills for $5 you are paying 1990's prices, and that was "give away then" Nitrox cost much more to produce plus raises the shop's liability insurance and sometimes government inspections. Many areas that do not have a high local demand do not sell Nitrox. For most the reason...

Question about diving doubles with standard reg setup.

The guy at your local shop is not wrong, but it dose not usually make sense to do this. 1) Need BC or back plate for doubles 2) Extra weight to carry 3) could turn on uncovered post and lose breathing gas 4) would cause others to laugh (maybe this should be #1)
