I have used my new Pearl i3 twice over the weekend and I'm in love with it...It fits me like no other BCD..my air consumption improved I was just so comfortable ...the i3 lever is very easy to use ...& I don't feel like I'm having a Mammogram when I dive...:D :kiss2:

I've tried many BCDs I have taken 12 months to find a BCD that fits my body shape - I'm not a big person & have girly curves unisex just don't fit - :D I have ordered my Pearl i3 & am looking forward to diving with it ;)

I love my SheP... having a little trouble...starting flow...I'll get the hang of it with practice (overcoming my toilet training as a toddler)... I'm also enjoying the look on the guys faces when they realise a girl has a pee valve...:confused::confused:

Well, I did it! My wife thought I was a bloody idiot with all the 'should I do it this way' or should I do it that way'.... So I puched a hole in my suit and had a few pre glue fits befofre I chose the method. By the way, I think the police could use Pinacle Evo dry suits as bullet proof...

Bronk, Thanks for the info. To clarify though, what direction did you end up pointing your valve outlet? Is the loop at the top of your hose line (i.e. at the condom end) or at the valve end? I see haw you got around your knee pad... smart. Once the hole is punched, squirt some aquaseal in...

Hi I am new to under water photography. I have the DC 1000 elite, I use the wide angle lens alot ..I am saving for the 2nd strobe so if you can afford to buy the Maxx kit do it... also the strobe diffuser is a must, cuts down scatter amazingly well. I have just a few pics in the members...

I rang Southern Cross this week ..out of stock...back next week or the week after...being holding on this long 1 or 2 more weeks won't kill me .... just can't get my head around peeing my "pants" (a nappy)... will let you know how I go when I get mine...:D

Saspotato, I am also looking at buying a She-P but am confusted as to which valve. I am keen to know if the problems you had were with the valve? I was going to also buy it from Southern Cross Divers but am concerned about the Si Tech Pee valve.:confused:

Bugger, I had the idea that I could conceide defeat with my DC800 and throw it in the bin and just replace it with the DC1000. I will not do this if I have to also replace the housing as I am not going to hand over another thousand bucks to experience the same issues I am having with my DC800.

Grover, Yes, it appears to be yet another problem that the DC800 is plauged with. It has only happened to me twice and luckly both times on land when I was trying to learn how to use the camera when I first got it. Having said that, I no longer have the original camera hence it could have...
