Don, I'm a fan and patron of DWM and it's been my experience that they often pull up to the small pier south of Playa Palancar for their SIs, along with other boats. Certainly, it's dependent on the dive site (being near Palancar), so I don't know if it's "negotiable" as much as practical...

I had the same problem and cured it with high-top (Akona) booties. Also, loosening the straps just slightly may help. Ultimately, I bought spring straps for convenience and ease in donning/doffing. Merry Holidays!!!

I've looked through Reef Fish ID book and can't come to any conclusion. Is this a juvenile cowfish? (Ha, would that be a "calf-fish"?) Trunkfish, maybe? Based on the anemone in the background, I'm thinking this guy was under two inches...
