I couple years ago I did a few dives in 80ft and follwed the plan to a T and was diving nitrox. A few days later I had pretty bad joint pain that ranged from my elbows to almost every joint in my rib cage, alot of the time it hurt even to breath that lasted for a month....till I went diving...
West palm beach is also another good spot for beginner divers I dont know how deep you want to take him but I did a few dives down there and they were around 60ft.
BC- black diamond or sea quest balance

Aqualung makes some great stuff with the pro deal you shoould be able to get some top notch gear at a great price.
Well I wouldnt buy any equipment from him or seek his advice anymore. I the hundreds of people on this board arent proof enough than I dont know what is.
I heard theryre hit or miss I think the most important thing is to treat your fuel with some kind of ethanol treatment. The ethanol is giving me hell with my hpdi's 4k later and im still having problembs. This ethanol is bad and it will bond with water and stem clean the inside of your cyliders.
I probally should have tried it out before i said that (I havent used the release on my zeagle). I havent had any accidental weight loss with my bp/w weight pockets yet.
Im not so sure about the rip cord system, I think it is just making somthing simple complicated. I can see it having the possibilty of not relsing the weights because the weights get entagled in the rip cord or somthing. I also think that it is nice just to be able to pull the pockets out of...
I prefer a back inflating bc, whether a bp/w or back inflate bc I have both it just depends on what im doing. Back inflating BCs have better trim in my opinion and hold you more horizontal in the water.
I like my bp/w for spearfishing beacause its customize. I can each d ring where I want it and I can put pockets where ever I want or not dive one at all. Its realy not much different from diving with a back inflate I just allows you customize the small stuff for better fit and function.
Deep...
Id go with the sea quest ballance. Sea quest makes some good gear, and Id definately stick with a back inflate, youll be much happieer with it down the road.
I realy think it comes down to preference I have both a zeagle back inflate BC and a deep outdoors bp/w and I like them both except for the fact that my zeagle didnt have any pockets. I think that the stiletto would suffice for almost every type receational diving.
