I have a hard time believing your boat captain allowed another charter boat to be tied off directly to their boat without permission and then be left unattended without a prior conversation arranging this.
Are you sure you have a complete understanding of what transpired? What boats/captains...
Unfortunately I don't think anything can be gained by attempting to call to task two guys who don't have the decency to air (pun fully intended) their issues with the said shop via an email, phone call or (shock) in person before taking it to an international scuba diving forum for a little...
At the suggestion of many scubaboard members I was asked to repost this review in the DIR forum which is an excellent suggestion. If it is the wrong place then please do move it where it belongs. Thanks.
I finally got a chance to check out the finished copy this weekend while up at Northern...
Mmm....Leeches. Wouldn't surprise me. I'm sure it's adaquate for ow classes but as a dive destination I would rate it bottom of the quarry and shore diving lists in Ontario.

Want me to tell you what I really think? :)
You will get all sorts of different answers on this one but I for one don't feel wetsuits have any place in Ontario diving except above the thermoclines the middle few months of the year.
Anyone hoping to dive to any depth or beyond July/Aug/Sept should really look into a drysuit.

The only issue witht the Bayside is the trains. If you are the type that needs absolute quiete then go with the Millhaven or something. The good point about the Bayside is it is cheap and a 2 min walk from Tommies diver for good filling food and NTD where charters leave right from the back...
I've always found Northern Tech Diver in Kingston to be well stocked with what I need for diving.
Dan's Dive Shop in St. Cathrines is also very well stocked.
Both shops have excellent service and a real member of the family feel about them. More than just product.
