Gavin DPV battery replacement? What Ah?

Is it 8c direct to the motor? Would not it be too hot for gavins motor?

Gavin DPV battery replacement? What Ah?

If you shorten it to gavins short body length it will be ok.

Gavin DPV battery replacement? What Ah?

I am very careful even with the standard. Damn heavy. 42ah is a two person affair or a cart and a smooth ramp :)

Gavin DPV battery replacement? What Ah?

I have a “standard” and a short body , the former uses double powersonic 35ah batteries and the latter uses 21ah. The long body IIRC uses double ps 42ah

Pony bottle valve, Pro vs DIN?

Its legal to have the valves that are deep (300 bar ) on any tank here. In NA the service pressure of a valve is dictated by the burst disk. We do not even have 300bar tanks here. And its common to have shallow (200 bar) valves on 232 bar tanks (called HP here)

    2019 Sherwood Blizzard Pro, opinions?

Derek what is included into 800? is a lot of money for a used reg. If spend some time on facebook marketplace and ebay uk/it/de you can find a good scubapro set for way less. The last rigs I got were in a range of 260CAD (cosmetics on then second stage) for 2 stages and 450 for 3 stages 2018...

    Simple questions on tank age...

I would at least do a vis and rebuild the valve with the fresh lube and orings if you had air or 32 on it. If it has trimix I would check the o2 and he content and compare with the label to make sure the gas is ok then dive it and then vis and rebuild the valve.

    Tech diving regulator?

For our conditions I would go for mk17/mk19 or equivalent H50. Both G250V/Halo and G260 would work well. Apeks are also great regs you cannot go wrong with them and all these they can be serviced locally with no issues. Arguably MK19 provides cleaner routing but they are way more expensive. I...

    MK15/20/25/19 How about that?

    Tech diving regulator?

If you can afford it go MK19Evo/G260 due to the turret on MK19, next for me would be MK17/G260 then H50(same as mk17) with Halo and them Apeks. I put the SPs first as I do like the replaceable orifice and the fact that the diaphragm can be torqued to a spec instead of metal to metal on Apeks.

TDI - Intro to Tech - Necessary?

The question is: "Have you been at 126' on helium ?" If not you cannot tell if you are narced or not as there is nothing you can compare it with. Most people when they are drunk say they are sober. Recognizing narcosis takes practice and a lot of self awareness and .... honesty. I start...
