Uhhhh??? "Scratching my head!" I've been certified and actively diving since 1970! I've NEVER heard of a dive shop putting bleach in their fill baths! Why should it even cross my mind (or that of any diver) to ask them if they put bleach in their fill baths?!? Not really something you think...

Laura and I will be in Bonaire April 20 to April 27 this year. We will be staying at Goood Resort and probably doing most of my diving with Menno from Goood Resort. This will be our first trp to Bonaire so I am open to any suggestions as to good places to eat, sights we should not miss...

I have to agree with you on the beds! I was at SCC a couple of years ago and they were very hard! In addition there is a lack of phones and TV's in the rooms (or at least at that time there were none). I found the DM's to be very good and enjoyed the diving with them. I also found the food...

Gee Kristi! Are you sure you don't have Don mixed up with someone else?? :confused: I have dived with him before and I think you would be hard pressed to find a more cautious, conservative diver! When you speak of his "usual nonsense" that does not sound at all like the Don I know! :shakehead:

I have the same camera and that same floating strap. The strap is attached to the strobe plate. I never thought to check and see if the camera floats without the strobe and strap.... I would assume it is positve bouyant. :confused: Maybe I need to check!

Gordon, I think we are going to try to get there around 6:30 or 7:00. But I am certainly open what anyone else suggests. I would just like to get as large a group of us as possible together at least one night while we are on the island! :D

I always dive a full 3/2 mm suit! And in the cooler seasons I add a 1 mm vest/hood to it. But then I hate being even a little cold. :cold: And if I am diving 120 cf tanks with Aldora I certainly go heavier on the suit as the dives tend to last much longer.
